I can't believe this! This week all the snow had finally melted, the streets were clean and ice-free...When I got home yesterday, it had started to snow really lightly, but I thought it would never stay. But now we have about 6cm of new snow!!! I'm so sick and tired of all this white stuff... Can't remember the last time we had this much snow, and this long into the year too.

Exactly! I was quite annoyed when I looked outside my window this morning. Maybe we should consider looking for our easter eggs in the snow...

Isn`t this just the longest winter ever????? I`ve spent a fortune on de-icer for the car, salt for my path/patio, had numerous slips (no falls tho ;) ). Getting a little fed up now

Must admit tho, for the past couple of days, its been lovely here, it showed 10 degrees in the car early this afternoon, tho it turned into a very cold evening. Tonight I went onto another site I`m a member of, and one other member lives in southern Spain, and she woke up to snow this morning, in SOUTHERN SPAIN :shock :shock :shock just goes to show what a cold winter its has been.

One consolation is tho that the nights are staying lighter a little longer, Spring in 12 days :jump . My garden is finally showing signs of life thank goodness, tho lost a far few plants due to the harsh winter - and my grass, but then my 4 dogs haven`t helped with that one either   .

Warm hugs to those in colder clims than here :hugs1

It was quite warm here around the end of February and now it's just freezing cold again. This really needs to end soon! :(

I seriously think I have some sort of winter-blues or somerthing...I'm just so tired of always beeing cold as soon as I go outside, putting on all those clothes on top of each other, and all the ice and snow....arg, this really needs to end! :( And just as I type this, it started to snow again...or not really snow, looks more like icy rain, if you know what I mean...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. :(

I want to thank everyone on this forum for reminding me what spectacular weather we enjoy in Southern California! We were in Laguna Beach (south of Los Angeles, in the "O.C.") on Monday and we ate lunch outside on the beach in the sun! Over 80F/26C is predicted for the next several days.
I also want to thank my brave Polish grandparents for immigrating to the U.S. 100 years ago, and later bringing my 10 year old Dad to live in Hollywood in 1937. Thank you also to my Irish-American grandparents for bringing my (then) 14 yr old Mom to L.A. in 1941! I was fortunate to know all these people very well. May they all rest in peace - except Mom - who's still with us, living next to a golf course near Palm Springs.
I'm also very thankful that we plan to visit Ireland again and the UK!!! I will be making a pilgrimage to Sheriff St this time!
